Advertising or marketing is a vital part of any one's life. People do make many if not most of their purchasing decisions on the basis of advertisements. Dentists themselves make purchasing decisions on the basis of advertising. In today's competitive, consumer-oriented society, dentist must learn the marketing skills. Informing the public about his or her services, can be as much a part of his dental armamentarium as the high-speed hand piece. This article explores potential and methods of marketing in dental practice.
