Greetings to one and all,

Wishing all a very happy new year.

I would like to congratulate Dr Gopikrishna V for taking over as President, IAPHD and Dr. Pushpanjali K for taking over as President elect, IAPHD.

I am glad that silver jubilee celebrations of our association were observed during 23rd National Conference of IAPHD organized by DJ Dental College, Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh. I congratulate the organizing team. The yearround activities such as IAPHD oral health week/month, School programs, and National Public Health Dentistry Day were observed as planned and conducted in all the institutions all over India.

All of us are eagerly waiting to attend the forthcoming 13th National Post Graduate Convention of IAPHD organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences in the month of June.

We have come a long way in strengthening our association through a teamwork. I hope we can carry forward this growth with increasing enthusiasm.

I am glad to know that National Tooth Brushing Day was celebrated on November 7, 2018 by conducting many Continuing Dental Education Programs, workshops, free dental checkups, and creating awareness about oral health.

I wish the Editor and her editorial team all the best for the future issues.

Long live IAPHD.
