The prevalence of injuries was 7.7%. The overall ratio of trauma between boys and girls was 1.9:1. The most common type of injury was enamel fracture (51.2%). Maxillary central incisors were the most commonly involved teeth in trauma. Most fractures in were seen in children with class I Type 2 malocclusion (32.03%) and Class IT Div I malocclusion (21.9%). The results of this study suggest that preventive educational programs should be instituted, directed at parents and teachers.
