Healthy subjects build a prosperous nation. Health is the fundamental right of the citizens.Public health measures contribute to the quality of life. Oral health is an integral part of generalhealth. In India, Dental Public Health is four decades old. It has seen a paradigm shift from itshumble beginnings. Therefore it is imperative that the dental public health professionals reorientthemselves in these changing times.
