Greetings

Welcome to the second issue of the year 2014.

As an official publication of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry, JIAPHD has been medium for scientific communication for more than a decade. Since JIAPHD is online, it is fair to expect our fraternity deem this journal as their first choice and prefer to publish their research in our journal.

I was overwhelmed by the response received for the journal when I took over as Editor. Although the journal became quarterly from biannual certain issues such as timely peer review and publishing of the journal could not perhaps be achieved. Now our association with Medknow Publications has made publication more simple and timely.

I would like to thank the President, Hon. Secretary, and all the members of the Executive Committee for their unstinted support in this regard. Many thanks to authors, reviewers, and the members of the editorial board for their constant support and co-operation.

Wish more and more high-quality articles get published throwing light on public health problems in India and innovative ways to tackle them.
