Greetings
Welcome to the second issue of the year 2015.
With a successful collaboration with Wolters Kluwer Health and Medknow, we are able to publish JIAPHD regularly. As on June 2015 we have received 115 articles for publication. With 150 reviewers and 250 authors already registered, it gives a clear indication of interest shown by our fraternity. I profusely thank all those involved in this process for sparing their time and energy to improve the quality of the journal.
All the research conducted in our country should culminate in a publication. Researchers should have a thought about the probable journal to which article may be sent for publication. Conducting research giving due consideration for ethical as well as scientific aspects with standard checklist such as STROBES, CONSORT as guiding posts publication becomes easy and enjoyable.
In this issue, we have a series of original articles, systematic reviews, and letter to the editor. More original research in newer areas relevant to India is desirable. IAPHD news echos Public Health Activities undertaken and serves as an inspiration for the young.
