Success mantra for teachers

S = 3D + 3Q

where S = Success in teaching life

D = Dignity, dedication, and devotion

Q = IQ (intelligence quotient), EQ (Emotional quotient), and SQ (spiritual quotient)

One should be proud of being a teacher and say “I am teacher, I am nation builder, I am a Torch-Bearer, how great I am, how responsible I am.”

-Swamy Nikileshwarananda

Warm greetings,

It is real pleasure to think the association is marching toward the 25th year. It is most memorable to celebrate Silver Jubilee Function of the Association.

I have started with the great saying of eminent personality with regard to the role of teachers as Torch-Bearers. In India, at present, the option for Public Health Dentists is not only teaching but also serving the society in other forms. Hence, the role of Public Health Dentists is unique.

We are eagerly awaiting to participate in the 12th National PG Convention of IAPHD, which will be held on June 22, 2018, and June 23, 2018, at KLR's Lenora Institute of Dental Sciences, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. The theme for the convention “Enlightening the aura of oral health through primary prevention” is apt for the present scenario. I am sure that various components of the PG Convention will certainly will enlighten the students in carrying out the importance of the application of primary prevention for the improvement of oral health of all the cadres of the society.

I am equally very happy about JIAPHD which is bringing good quality articles and maintaining the high standard.

I take this opportunity to thank all the office bearers of IAPHD and members for the cooperation, understanding, and contribution for the development of our association and the subject.

Best wishes.
