Greetings!

Welcome to the second issue of the year 2018.

I sincerely thank all the authors, reviewers, editorial board members, office bearers of IAPHD, all the members, Medknow, and readers for extending their continuous support and cooperation for bringing out the second issue of the year 2018 successfully.

A request to all the authors is to read the author instructions carefully and upload the manuscript. This saves most of the time, both for the authors and the editorial office, without having been sending the manuscript for technical modification which is the most common problem we are facing at office.

This Journal of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry is committed to publishing papers of the high standard, and within this goal, there is also a commitment to cover a broad spectrum of topics under the field of Public Health Dentistry. The Journal is also concerned with publishing and focusing on new developments and areas of controversy or doubt. Therefore, with limited room, hard choices have to be made. Commonality, methodological issues, plagiarism, poor draft, data inconsistency, and topic which is out of the scope of the journal are some of the main reasons why some of the manuscripts are rejected in the review process. I hope, for those of you who may have had a manuscript rejected by the Journal's peer-review process that this explanation helps by making the process a little more transparent.

I take this opportunity to wish “Best of Luck” for all the examination going postgraduate students.

Hope to see you all at the 12th National Postgraduate Convention of IAPHD at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
