  Oral Health Month- OCTOBER 2020 Top

Programme Description: Oral Health Month was celebrated from 1st October 2020 to 31st October 2020 by Department of Public Health Dentistry where oral health awareness programmes and On the closing ceremony of “Oral Health Month” celebrations, a guest lecture on Substance abuse and dependence: “Be smart, Don't start” by Dr. Akshatha D, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, SSMC, SSAHE, Tumkur was organized on 2nd November 2020 (Monday) from 11.00am- 12.00pm at AV Hall, SSDC, Tumkur.

Participants: OPD Patients, Students and faculty members of Sri Siddhartha Dental College & Hospital, Tumkur

  National Tooth Trushing day -2020 Top

Department of Public Health Dentistry, Sri Siddhartha Dental College and Hospital, Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Tumkur observed “NATIONAL TOOTH BRUSHING DAY” on 11/11/2020. The programme was conducted among children in the orphanage and their staff. Tips regarding oral hygiene maintenance and brushing technique was demonstrated with the help of tooth brushing model. Oral hygiene kit containing tooth brush and toothpaste in college pouch was distributed. Further, children and staff were informed to avail necessary dental treatment at our institution for any dental problems at concessional prices with the given referral cards.

Participants: Orphanage children and Staff - Sri Sai Shikshan seva Kendra and Orphanage Mydala & Governament Boys Home, Gandhinagar, Tumkur
