To achieve this, modern dentistry has to reach beyond the conventional clinical disciplines. Therefore a developed business understanding is essential to be able to meet the future challenges of dentistry and public health care planning as it encompasses areas of expertise that relate to the non- clinical dimensions of dental practice. Hence an attempt has been made to include all information concerning the establishment and management of a dental practice.
