Materials and methods: Fifteen (males-twelve, females-three) cases were selected with diffuse blackish discoloration of gingival. With the use of surgical excision and round bur, the sites were depigmented and evaluated for six months. Results: Esthetically pleasing results were seen, with no repigmentation notice in a span of six months. Also, no side effects and ease performance made this method still a gold standard in a population like India.
