Due to cultural diversity, the self-reported health questionnaires need to be cross culturally adapted well according to cultural or linguistic settings when used in different countries; only translation process will not be adequate. This review aims to address the cultural adaptations of MHQ in various culture, language & summarizing the findings of all original articles. Establishing the need for current & future research projects on translation & cross-cultural adaptation of Michigan Hand Outcome questionnaire. Participants: NAMethods: A literature search was performed in electronic databases of Pub Med, EMBASE, CINAHL, Google Scholar, MEDLINE and SCOPUS from 2011 to 2022 with Michigan Hand questionnaire, Validation study, cross cultural adaptation, hand conditions, translation, Rheumatoid arthritis, Beaton guidelines as keywords.594 articles were screened and the reviews, conference proceedings, only abstract, case studies, case series and editorial letters were excluded. Analysis: on the basis of SANRA (Scale for the Assessment of Narrative Review Articles) guidelines Qualitative analysis was done & all findings of original articles were summarizedResults: Out of 594 articles,26 articles were selected according to title & abstract & 16 full text articles were included in the study according to SANRA guidelines. Conclusion: In this review, all included studies have followed Beaton et al. guidelines for the cultural adaptation process and focused on cultural issues & challenges of the different translated versions of MHQ & cultural adaptations were done according to the respective country culture, for which researcher requires skill, awareness & understanding of the cultural issues of the respective country. Implications: An overview of cultural issues & its adaptation done during cross cultural adaptation process (CCA) according to the community/country should be available to the future -researchers as it provides in-depth knowledge about importance of culture, saves on their time for CCA process & an important step in questionnaire development process.}, URL ={https://journals.lww.com/aphd/pages/default.aspx/article.asp?issn=2319-5932;year=2019;volume=17;issue=1;spage=86;epage=86;aulast=;t=6}, eprint ={https://journals.lww.com/aphd/pages/default.aspx/article.asp?issn=2319-5932;year=2019;volume=17;issue=1;spage=86;epage=86;aulast=;t=6} }
